I saw current model nps the other day with an over cab camper with a solid roof. A vehicle that high would have some serious limitations not to mention centre of gravity.

But I'm also a newbie, as you can see by my join date, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about and the curtained-in bathroom isn't that big a deal.
With limited water resources, you can't take long slow HOT soaking showers like at home. You learn to take what's called a ‘Navy Shower'. While there may be privacy concerns, you're not in there for long.

Living in an RV - scuba diving and childbirth
the three things in life where its better to just throw modesty out the window
like I say to people who query the privacy issue of living in an RV
"if you see me getting out of the shower - close your eyes",

DzlToy I happen to agree with you on the soft top pop up. For something in this price range I would prefer either a fixed top or a hard sided pop up. Better weather protection and in bear country it would be nice not to be required to have everything in a bear locker.
We have the next unit almost completed ...... based on a single cab Isuzu NPS built for a retiring couple hoping to head off on a Round The World trip in the near future. Will post more pics of that as soon as its done......about 2weeks.
