Australian Insurance Question

Hi Guys

My insurance is up for renewal again. I have a 6 tonne Mitsi motorhome. I have been with Ken Tame (CMCA) for a number of years. I note CIL insurance change an excess for damage done off road / dirt roads etc.

Question:
Anyone got an insurance company they can recommend which covers their Heavy Mitsi or isuzu?

With Ken Tame too. Interested to hear feedback. Steve, has your premium just jumped by $100 dollars or so from last year? Ours did.

Must admit I can not fault Ken Tame, did have to claim a few years ago for a broken front spring. They came to the party especially on the towing cost from Victoria High Country to Melbourne.

With NRMA for last 3 years - both Insurance and roadside asst.
Haven't used their service until now (touch wood) except front windscreen free replacement. It got a 10cm long crack on Plenty on last trip in July
But keen to know if others can be better when in need.

It great you have road side assist, that’s something I have not been able to do. RACQ (in Qld) will not help anything over 4.5t.

I use club 4x4. Not cheap but good cover.

I am also with NRMA only claim I have had is windscreen and that was painless. And as Bris31 said roadside assist good for up to 10t
