Looks like a good trip Tim.

And this kills me. In a way it proves you don't always need an uber modded rig to go places ... and in another way shows how blatantly ignorant people can be about off-roading; a Compass really has no business up there.

Rex, I enjoyed seeing your truck make the small water fall in box canyon on friday, makes me want a taco box. I did not see any drinking on the trails, althought I was only on official trail runs.

The Crawl box is a wonderful tool, for sure. It make me look good and tough spots easy. Its just about the same amount of 'more gooderness' as going from two wheel drive to four wheel drive.

The drinking.............I also saw no drinking on the 'official' runs. However, My opinion is this, everyone signed the waiver, everyone received the club sticker showing that they belonged there and everyone was there because it was AZRocks 08. I doubt very many would have been on the trail that day if it were not for the club having the event. That coupled with the beer cans we picked up (some still cool and frosty) made me sad.
The club prsident is looking into a way to ensure the behaviour does not repeat.
The scenery was wonderful, the wheelin' was great and spending time with my family was the best.

Rex I could not agree with you more, we had a get together tonight of the participating memebers of AZTTORA in Flagstaff (all 3 of us that made it) and it appeared we all agreed that the cold frosty beers are best left in camp. I hope I did not come across that I was defending the one drinking on unofficial runs. I did enjoy myself even though I mostly kept to myself in camp. Hopefuly they have the alchool problem controled next time.
