Back up camera wiring question

A couple of questions:

is the 4 pin avionics connector a good choice to transmit 1080p?

Is there an easy way to convert from the avionics connector to the small diameter 4 pin connector?

I have a camera and monitor installed. I am planning on getting rid of the current monitor however, the new monitor only has the small diameter connector as an input. The installed camera uses the avionics connector and because the way the camera is installed I do NOT want to replace it with a camera that uses the small diameter connector.

It seems like the older cameras use the avionics connector and the newer ones use that small diameter connector.

If the camera that is installed has it from factory, I would say yes use it.
