Bags

After searching hi and low for my perfect daily bag I finally found it. I wanted a backpack that could carry my work journals , camera, cell phone, a few snacks and my general go-gear. I bought this bag which was nice but to stiff and kind of to pretty for me. It also didn't have any pouches except for the one inside. http://www.frostriver.com/day_packs/knapsack.html

So I stumbled across this bag on ebay, I took a chance buying another bag site unseen but this time I got it right. The bag is great I have not seen this type of quality for a long time , real craftsmanship has went into the design and build of this bag. The oil canvas is what they call "scrubbed wash" it makes the bag feel like my 25 year old lucky pack right out of the box. But this doesn't seem to have made the bag weak at all there are no thin spots that some aging processes create in fabric. I just love this thing and will be buying more of their products and highly recommend them to others as well.

Great choice on your bag!! I love that old world feel and look of oiled canvas. It is a challenge trying to find the right bag for all of our modern day needs---looks like a good choice for you!:punk03:

ha thats funny just as I posted you found that other seller. I really like this bag so much so I'm going to buy their shoulder bag for my gym gear. I can't speak highly enough of the quality and craftsmanship. Also they have a very nice feature that makes them much easier to use , if you look in the photo's they have leather straps with buckles for closure , they are functional but if you look at the top of the strap you can see that they also have snaps that allows quick access to the inside.

I've started doing a little comparing, and so far it looks like the Kakadu prices are lower on Amazon.

Hmm...

It looks just like the one the FJ Cruiser Trail Team were giving away about a year ago...

very similar indeed , I actually saw one of those on ebay but didn't buy it for the fact I couldn't see having to buy a new FJ to match a bag. :D
