I was talking about the one to replace the net in front of the shifter

The next step on that project was to find the right double-sided tape to secure it to the plastic of the center console. I didn't have enough confidence in the 3M Automotive Mounting Tape I used for the initial test, it seemed too easy to pull off so I thought it might fall off over time.

Anyway I showed the design to Overland Outfitters and they didn't seem enthusiastic about it so I didn't pursue the project any further.

If anyone has suggestions for mounting tape that works well on the slippery Jeep console plastic I could try that out and maybe revive the project.

As I'm using the JKU less and less these days, I'm thinking maybe I should get rid of some of the JKU accessories that I haven't used in a long time. First on the list to go probably will be my half doors. Never got around to painting them to match the JKU and they've been hanging in the garage for a long time. The wall-mount door hanger would go with them, as would the one-of-a-kind hard uppers with slider windows. If anyone is interested I'll consider offers...

I'm at the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion this week; MORryde is here showing the production version of their new fridge/cargo slide. It's a Jeep show so they're showing it in a JL Wrangler. Photos of the slide in their display Jeep are attached, along with photos from when I did a test install for them in my JKU. I think of it as a fridge slide + cargo; the MORryde display showed it with a fridge and an Action Packer. They say it retails for $315.00 and they were handing out 10% + Free Shipping cards, making the price $283.05. The mounting brackets are extra, I don't know the price of the JLU or JKU brackets.
