Hey All,
We've decided to sell our home built camper that we've been using for the last 3.5 years. The trailer is based off of a heavy duty, steel frame, 6x12 cargo trailer with a V-nose in the front for aerodynamics and extra storage. You can reed the full build on Expo that was posted here. Below is a list of features and pictures/video. Price is $6,500 obo based on materials to build, location is Wilmington, DE.

- Heavy duty frame made with 4" tube steel
- Heavy duty 3500lb axle w/ 10" electric brakes and 3" axle tube (Stock drop axle can be switched in if desired)
- 35" Tires w/ 17" wheels
- Full size queen, 6" thick home mattress from Ikea. Bed folds to wall to allow bike entry
- 6'-1 clear interior height
- 1" rigid foam insulation on walls, 2" rigid foam in ceiling

I'm sure I'm missing some things, but the pictures and videos should speak for the rest. Feel free to ask any questions.

Best of luck with the sale Don.....that price is fantastic for the amount of work that went into it!

really nice! How much does it weigh and what is the tongue weight?

Tougue weight is about 500lbs fully loaded, and full trailer weight is about 3000lbs w/ water and all camping gear inside. Tows really well.

Not to hijack the thread but what's your next vehicle/trailer?

Getting ready to start a thread, but going with a FWC flatbed Hawk on a F250 w/ 7.3ltr diesel and a trailer that has more room for both my bike and my son's so we can go riding together more easily as his bikes get bigger (only a 50cc now).

Price drop by $500, now $7,000. I know it's not the best time to sell, but it will make the new project easier. Let me know of any questions.

Got a price quote last month for a sale that fell through... Shipping is very reasonable through some place like U-ship. Delaware to Colorado was about $800-$1,000.

Still available. Get if before camping weather gets here.

Thanks for the compliment! Though sleeping 4 wouldn't be that hard. We could install a fold down bunk bed along the side of the trailer, above the queen bed for 1, under the bed for 1, and 2 on the queen size mattress. I'd only take a half day of fab! :wings:
