If you already have the Redarc BCDC why not add in a Redarc Smart Battery Isolator to give you jump start, but also (maybe more importantly) charge the start battery from solar? I was actually just talking with them about this yesterday.

I had two switches on hand and did two vehicles as you described with Yandina VSRs, simple works fine.
