Bed Rack Options

Good Day Folks,
Proud owner of a 2017 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X, even stock it has performed well past my expectations...including saving me and my sons life when we hit a moose doing 80KM/H. Anyways I am starting to work through and replace/upgrade a few things while maintaining stock drive height.

Been starting to camp, but looking at upgrading possibly to a RTT...Now for that I need a Bed Rack, something to sit about 1ft above the truck box, maybe lower. Local Fabrication shops are a bloody joke, and over charge beyond belief (4 clamps to hold down a cargo box was 525$ CAD). So Local Fabrication is out of the question...I am either looking for some options to buy (while shipping to Canada) or some material/fabrication ideas for a rack at home.

Hello, good fab shops cost good money. I had my RTT rack made local ( NS) it cost around $800 ( can not remember exact amount ). But it was built exactly to my specs,and primed/painted. Your cheapest solution would be to build your own, as shipping/duty will ruin your day. There are some modular systems that are available, but I am unsure of cost.
My sits on the top of the bed rails and mounts to the utili- track.

The brackets I mentioned were 4” long and 2“ wide with 2 90 degree bends. The bottom of the bracket was a straight piece of metal to bolt to the top piece..... total metal used (as per fab shops info was 48” x 2” stainless steel, and 3 hrs labor... I looked at my reciept today for referenc... 505.83$ CAD over here in Newfoundlan.

Would gladly pay that amount for your Bed Rack....that is what I want, only about 6” lower

I’m looking at getting a set of billiebars for my rtt setup.

Seems like it could be a nice choice WKexpedition. So far, no message from black widow yet...will call Monday. The billiebars are a lot more basic and will run 940 taxes and shipping (but not customs)....but a choice is better then nothing at all
