Best 'Aggressive AT' Tires?

Oil eater.
I had the wild peaks and they looked alright, but were pretty soft. And the sipping only goes to around 50% after that they were slicks damn near. Hated them for that.

Any opinion on the courser atx vs the cooper at3s?
Yeah,my neighbor's F-250 burned up his 285-70-17 Falken Wildpeaks in 22K. Truck's unladen with mostly city usage. Discount credited him and now he's wearing 305-70-17's Nitto Terras.
My AT2's balanced with.75 oz to 3.25 oz.

Yokohama ats wore really uneven and got really noisy at 30k. Rotated every 5k. The General grabber at2 is great in snow and ice good in mud. Really great on road.

Well looks like its been decided for me almost. 6 brand new with stickers, never mounted MT baja ATZ's. The price is about 100 per tire..6 tire rotation :p
Could probably get 90k out of the set lol. Gonna try to grab them in the next few days.

Good looking tire - similar to some of the other modern AT designs but with more tread void. Checked the site and they don't have the Extreme tread option in 285/75/16s - will have to keep an eye on them to see if they bring one out.

I'm running the same size as Bill (285/75-17) on my Rubicon and love them! I would suggest you look at the "regular" AT II in the size you want. There is almost no difference between them and the "extreme" version, other than the rather lame graphics on the extreme versions. Tread depth is only 1/16" less, and voids are about the same.

Road noise is not bad. A little louder than a street based A/T, but less than an M/T. They handle everything real well. Deep water on roads, light mud holes, rocks, snow, ice, slush and pavement. I have about 18K miles on them and have about 14/32" tread left. New tread depth is 18/32"

I've always loved mostly everything about BFG KO's. Just bought another set, but I was contemplating a few others. Came pretty close to buying either DC FCII's or ST Maxx, but the cost was about the same, and I really couldn't ask for any more from the KO's, so went with them again.

I'm also in the market for new tires, and am always checking out other rigs. The other day I spotted a Land Rover Discovery wearing these Yokohama Geolander H/T-S tires:

When I look for this tire, though, all I can find are these:

Which are clearly not the same tire. Are the ones I spotted on the Landy no longer made by Yokohama? I'm confused!

Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining.
The Cooper S/T Maxx is a solid off road tire with an aggressive AT tread.
Durable 3-ply side wall, deep lugs with a good void, decent sipping, and low road noise has sold me.
(These are my new favorite aggressive AT since the Duratrac stopped production of the 3-ply sidewall.)

The tires on the Rover are most likely retreads on a H/T carcass.

I am very unimpressed with the Cooper S/T Max. My boss is a Cooper guy won't buy any thing else. We have 7 trucks running them and 4 employees running and I'm not 1.

We run pavement and rock oil field roads. The tires chunk we have had 7 side wall blow outs and not 1 set has worn evenly. I'm sure there a good tire but we will be going to a different Cooper for the next batch. I run the STT on my service truck that spends most of its life over loaded and not 1 issue. Yes it makes noise but so dose the 460 headers stacks.

My camping partner and cousin has the 315-75-16 St Max and 15k he transferred them from his 2500 HD installed them on his Ram charger at 25% tread hoping to save some life.
