thanks guys. it was a busy year for me in many ways that just kind of died off. Some of ther images are just pictures I like to share like the Discovery landing. getting to see that was a life time highlight for me. My wildlife photography really took off this year and I am hoping to build on it.

Very true, all I have around here for models are lizards, snakes, coyotes and one glamper. :sombrero:

I have models backed up right now. I have been trying to get my photoshop shiped from california so I can edit with a tool I am comfortable with. Since the comp got refreshed I lost all of my programs. I recently bought Capture NX and it is pretty cool but it is SLOW.
I have 3 female fitness shoots, 2 male boxing shoots, and 4-5 location models shoots to do just as soon as I get the comp back in order. processing 2-3 images at a time is to slow when you have 5-600 pictures to sort through lol. I am limited on 4 legged critters to shoot here and that kind of stinks. but the 2 legged variety is plentiful lol

Pat, what an awesome collection. One heck of a year for you, well done.:wings:

The dolphins and the body building model still blow me away every time I see them. All the beautiful landscapes and wildlife captures are just sugar coating to the collection.

Man Pat, those are some outstanding photographs; your picture convey the character of the place so well.
And the bird/wildlife shots are just amazing, the crane with the ruffled feathers- awesome.

Thanks Joash and John.

John, one of the surrounding islands we live on is a Rookery and every night just after the sun sets, there are giant flocks of wood storks that cruise back to the island where they roost. I've taken it for granted just thinking that was normal till we had a large bird group come down. When they saw a few of them fly over, they went ballistic. They were calling other friends back home and everyone was going all crazy.

I explained that the few they just saw was just a teaser. They sat with their jaws agape as dozens upon dozens of them continued to fly over. I then realized what I was pretty used to is something that's actually pretty special:Wow1:

I'll try and find a photo I have and post it for you where there is probably a dozen of them all picking through the mud flats in broad daylight

Here is something that is typical to wake up to every morning in our back yard

Thats your back yard??? Between the Wood Storks and the Spoonbills thats awesome. I see Spoonbills here as well but they are not super common. I see a few Woodstorks to but never together. Kind of an ugly bird but neat to watch. Osprey are abundant here as well and I am always on the lookout for eagles. Now what I would like to experience is the mass migration of hawks that you guys get on the gulf coast. To be able to see 200 ish hawks in one day would be amazing.

I've never seen that many hawks at once, but these past few months, we've seen a few each day chasing the doves and smaller birds that are here in huge flocks

Got this last week as it flew through our yard

Bald eagles are pretty common from here on out till late spring. Spoonbills have left and headed south and the white pelicans are now arriving in huge flocks.

Maybe you should come over for a day or two and we can go out shooting!

Some amazing images Pat. The wildlife is awesome.

??? did Pat share a private gallery with you? All the images I saw of the body builder were posed portrait shots. I didn't see any After Hours shots in that collection...
