I'm so bummed I wasn't able to go. Andrew said you guys had a great time and the pictures tell the story so well. Good job guys. Can't wait to be at the next run.

Jim, thanks again for organizing a great trip! Couldn't have asked for a better day, or a nicer group of guys. I'm going to hang the certificate you made me on the wall of my cube, to remind me that there's more to life than work. ;) I can't speak for anyone else, but I thought the trails you chose were perfect; scenic, plenty challenging enough to keep things interesting, and carnage-free.

Likewise, thanks to all of the attendees for the great spotting and assistance, and getting my mildly-built Xterra through the day unscathed. I had a blast ogling all your rigs, learned a lot, and have lots of ideas for future mods. Looking forward to meeting up with all of you on the trail again!!

Well Expat I gotta copy you again. I have a pretty good slash on my Silent Armors and it looks like I need a new set of Shoes. So unless BFG make a 275 (which they don't) I NEED (mind you not want) to get the 275 MTR's. Sorry Bud it just so happen you and I think alike!!!!!!!!

LOL..my next tires are 305's (maybe 315's) and new wheels that don't get hit by rocks! :wings:

BTW - MTR's get kinda noisy after they wear down. Just turn up the music! Hope to wheel with ya soon.

I'll have to get a map and see what part of John Bull you did. Looks like beautiful weather. I hope I can make the next one.

just a recent observation...I was in Moab 2 weeks ago and the mtr's performed the worst out of the group in mud, dirt and slickrock. I wanted some as well untill I saw them next to some other brands.

Jim-

Thanks for posting the pics and the great narrative! This is a good way to start a Monday morning at work by looking at Saturday's adventure. I had a great time and my kids are still talking about it. I did get a bit of heat from them on why we didn't stay and camp, but that'll be next time...

It was great to meet and wheel with all you guys. This is what makes this such a great forum as you can so easily spend a great day with a bunch of like-minded people and have a blast:wings:

Jim, a big "THANK YOU" for taking the time to put that together! You can count me in on any of the "JIMborees" that you will (hopefully) be organizing in the future:beer:

I will post some of my pics this evening when I get home:chowtime:

Ron B, sorry to have missed you, I was looking forward to watching the H1 tackle the trails as that has to be one of my favorite trucks! Out of curiosity do you mind dropping names on those tires that you were impressed with at Moab? The BFG MTs have been around for such a long time I forget that there are other brands out there!
