It wasn't cheap but I had damage (bleach spill) to the cargo area carpet so there was more than just pulling the old and pressure washing it...once I was pricing used carpet sets the price seemed more reasonable...
FYI...the OEM carpet is quite a bit darker than what is in the truck...not sure if due to fading of original but regardless...I like the darker color.

Wiring...

So by my calculations... 6 AWG wire will suit my needs...
The plan is to run an inline 60A fuse off the second battery...to a West Marine fused DC electrical panel where I can then hardwire in the fridge...I am going to run a negative return so as not to ground.
The electrical panels have 2 x 12v outlets which I don't think I will need but maybe nice to have for something like an Ipod...
I never plan on running another major amp draw like a compressor in the rear... just the fridge so for now this should be plenty of copper...
Free beer in Flagstaff AZ for anyone with wiring experience this weekend...:) Or anyone who just wants to come and laugh...

That should give you enough juice to run an inverter as well if you wanted to down the line--depending on size and load, I wouldn't run them both at the same time though. I blew a 60 amp fuse while using my inverter to power my camper (quieter than the Genny for the early morning hours) This was running the fridge(big norcold), lights and TV/DVD. There were a couple other live circuits that I shut down before reconnecting with a new fuse and didn't have any problems after that.

Nice! Gimme a call to pick that roller up; I'm around all day tomorrow.

Actually had a roller that I made work...but I still have lots of damplifier with your name on it...if you don't claim it, it is going in the 60...:)

Damplifier is in...this product is GREAT...thanks to Fergie for the suggestion and great write up with the GWB...
I used about 30 sq ft of the damplifier...three layers on the tranny cowl...two layers on driver and passenger footwells...and extended one layer back under the passenger seats...
Very easy to install...
1. Removed old jute stuck to floor with angle grinder wire wheel
2. Washed floor with water/dilute simple green
3. Cleaned floor with alcohol
4. Applied damplifier directly to floor...

Still deciding whether to add the heat wave pro above the damplifier...???

I need advice...should I use adhesive to stick the factory carpet down or just lay passive...

FYI,

Some of the trim pieces may be hard to get on with the extra thickness-- you just have to work at it a bit more. The only things I can't get to hold well is the plastic steps under the edges of the second row...

Other than that, I love the dynamat...

Good to know...
I tried to leave relief in all area I knew were getting large or thick trim pieces but I am sure I will run into some interference problems...
Will have to wait until this weekend to finish up the interior since the power cables for the fridge had too much memory to lay flat...

Anyone have any suggestions the best place to "pierce" the firewall with cable?

There are a few unused grommet area that are perfect. Clip the "nipple" off from the engine bay side and you can run the wires through there.

I'll see if I can find a picture, or just bring it over this weekend.

Great...
Seems like everyone here and on Mud suggests the die hard p1 group 34 platinum battery(ies)...
But sears.com say this is a "no no" on a 95 TLC for fit...?
I suspect they are just a little taller than stock...is this right?

Up and running...

After 2 weeks of downtime I finally got things wrapped up this afternoon...

Finished applying the heatwave pro to the cargo compartment and 2nd row footwell...
This product is easy to cut and trim with household scissors...sealed up all the seams with aluminum tape...secured to the floor with adhesive spray...

After applying the heat wave pro I was able to get the new carpet in...
Since the OEM carpet fit so well I chose not to use much adhesive to keep the carpet in place...
There is almost no slippage in the front due to the console and seats keeping the carpet "tacked" down.
I am planning on leaving all the rear seats out of the truck so there is a bit more slippage with the carpet...I may go back and add some adhesive to the cargo carpet piece.
I did use small amounts of adhesive on the wheel well pieces...
The hardest part was to fit trim where I had run the power cables for the fridge...the 6 ga wire in 3/4" loom was hard to fit along the passenger side but I was able to fit all trim pieces flat...
As stated in other posts...the damplifier/heat wave makes a huge difference in road and drivetrain noise in the cabin...didn't drive long enough to sense any difference in heat transfer through the cowl but I can't imagine that it won't help...
Next up...finish the wiring/second battery and start on drawers/sleeping platform...

Looks good.

However, you spent the cash on new carpet so you could hide it under a set of drawers and a sleeping platform????

I know...it might seem silly or a waste...but I am kind of OCD like that...And I didn't want to smell the funk that was in the old rug..:) and the old carpet was really nasty...the PO liked incense or something and it stunk...If nothing else I paid for a comfortable funk free ride...
I may actually pull the cargo area carpet when I start with the storage...and bolt directly to the floor
I am not planning on going the Adventure Trailers drawers route but does anyone know how that system lays on the floor...is it mounted directly to the steel?
