Beautiful! One of my favorite view spots in the entire world. Did you go down the frontside or backside? I can't tell what trail is shown going down from the top in the 2nd photo. Romero? Looks like they had just graded the fire road.

Thanks for the great pics.

Every single neighbor in our couldesac rode. We all got each other into it. Pretty cool. I even got my dad into it. I will never forget the first time i took him out and he laid on the ground saying how the last hill just kicked his *** and his man ********** were shaking so bad he could hardly see.

Then one morning i received a phone call that he was mountain biking back behind our house and had a heart attack. He died riding. He died doing what he loved. He was 53. We all could not believe it.

This weekend i'll be heading out to MTB ride. I'll be riding his bike. Proudly.

wow. That is so cool that your neighbors all got into it and even your dad. I was able to get my dad into road riding and even an occasional mtb ride.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Pretty cool that you get out there and ride his bike for him now.
I've often thought that there may not be a better way to go than doing something I love in a peaceful place.
May he rest in peace.

Stop posting up stuff like this or I am going to have to start pedaling again. :yikes:

Sounds like you got burnt out. Get back in the saddle and the addiction will creep in quick!:REExeSquatsHL1:

Went riding today, first time in a long time. Had a epic ride. Single track brush was as high as our shoulders!! It's so green and lush it's amazing here in SoCal! Never seen the trails so over grown! We could barely see the trail! Usually its brown!

One of the reasons why it was a Epic ride.. found this in the brush, just happened to look down!!!

That doesn't look like a half bad commute! Definately keeps you on your toes and it looks like some good sights to see!

That's exactly what dawned on me today. Despite my griping about insane bus drivers and dumptrucks...oh, and drivers with their heads up and locked...my ride is actually really nice!
