Here are a few shots from my area, as well as the Kokopelli Trail. A 150 mile ride we organize every year. We do it in a 3 day booze cruise.

Single speed fully rigid dooshnozzles!!! Seriously though, if I were man enough, i'd ride one too. Until then i'll stick with gears.

It's not nearly as hard as you would think. In fact, I don't think there's anything hard about it, contrary to what I thought I was getting myself into a few years ago when I decided to build up my SS.

For extreme adventuring on the steeps it can (should?) be considered impractical or inefficient or even unwise... but not any more difficult than on a geared bike.

You might give 'er a try sometime. You could surprise yourself like I did.

Dusk Till Dawn MTB race

start.jpg29er and I did a 12 hour race this weekend. Actually, it was 10 hours. We laid down some brisk laps. It was a beautiful day in the desert with temps touching 80 degrees.

Shoot! I wish I knew that you were going to do that one. I was going to with a couple friends, but went and did an epic ride instead.

Great pics! Man I wish I was able to ride in the winter, really makes you hungry to get back on it in the spring.

Here's youtube clip I took with a helmet cam on some local single track, the video quality got really poor after I uploaded it, but that's typical for youtube I guess.

Here's a couple of shots from White Rim trail from a self supported trip I did with my friend Alison. We used bob's and I was the lucky guy who had the 7 gallons of water on mine. Ugh! In hindsight, being that she is actually a professional cyclist and I'm most definately no where near her league, she should have taken the extra ballast, then maybe.... just maybe I would have had a shot!
Nice video and beautiful area.
