JPK ,

I would be interested in hearing about your tear-drop or if you have any photo's of it .
I'm over here in Oz and we don't have tear-drops here . I am looking at building a grass-hopper tear-drop ???? ,but on a land-cruiser Ute chassis , same sort of concept buy a bit higher off the ground .

Cheers Jim
We had one built recently by Little Guy. It came out pretty but they cut corners in some critical areas.
Right now it's back at their factory getting re-worked; I should know pretty soon how successful they were at making things right.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

I'm pretty excited about actually having my hands on this. I can't wait to finish setting it up and taking it out to play in the dirt.

I'll snap some pics of the inside as soon as I get a chance.

I'm looking forward to taking this out and playing in the sticks. Now I need to find the time off work. :-([/QUOTE said:

Well Mr "I took the time off", do you want to stop by and check the Karavan out while your passing through? :sombrero:

I can't complain, I have had many years when my work was a piece of cake and I had plenty of time off. This year happens to be quite busy for me and it's time to balance the scales a bit.

Geez...

I take a couple of days to go camping where there's no cell service, and you sneak this in here....:ylsmoke:

Can't tell how thrilled I am for you, and can't wait to see some trail reports and pix.....looks awesome behind the 4Runner....best of luck with it Brad!!

It really is one sweet piece of equipment!

Thanks.

I physically installed the roof A/C last night and plan to wire it in tonight.

This beast also has a 30 amp input for shore power so I had to go buy a heavy duty 30 amp twist lock power cord and adapters to be able to attach it to my home service as well as to my generator if needed when camping.

The nice thing is I have had it for a week now playing with the accessories, opening and closing it to show people and running the fridge. The solar power has been keeping the batteries fully charged all week. Pretty sweet. :wings:

Beautiful camper, Brad. Congratulations! Can’t wait to see it in person.
…And I thought the other one was nice.
