Very cool build. I love to see things done on the cheap.

* Installed a MSD ignition box. This thing is worth it's weight in gold - it added almost 2mpg to my average and gave me better grunt on uphill climbs.

Totally agree with you on the MSD stuff, I have an old hot rod jet boat that had the original points system in it, replaced with an a RTR MSD dizzy set up last year and the difference in performance, idle, starting etc is INCREDIBLE.

THere's a WHITE 4wd one of those running around here in Portland. Looks like the guy who owns it has been washing and waxing it daily for the last 10 years I've seen it... It's IMACULATE.

Nice truck you're building there BK, they just don't build'm like they used to, espescialy not 4wd's in N.America...

Is that motor some varriant of the SD33??? I'm guessing it's a non-turbo'd Diesel but I'm sure you could do SOMETHING to wake it up eh. I know the SD33-T can be a REAL fun engine once tuned up. Course if they're anything like the little 22L/LTE in the older Toyotas I'd be worried about popping HG's all over the place...

As I understand it, the SD33 is a 6cyl and this diesel is a 61hp 4 banger SD22.
