Looks comfy, I don't see a thing wrong with that!

It's definitely comfy! Also you are siting at the perfect height for the back windows. It's a bed with a view!

I will say I am at the max for the motors. I'm not sure if they will be able to handle it forever.

I also suddenly have some tweaking to do, I thought an inch was enough clearance, but the carpet has been causing it to jam up. Hopefully a few washers here and there to shim it will sort everything out.

I don't know any of the particulars, but if the motors are straining, is your wiring sized large enough to deliver the amperage need for them to perform at full capacity?

Just as suggestion...

I had the exact same thought. I am going to try and jump power from the board with 8 gauge. I am running 10 now which is what was stock.

Now we're talking!

The first picture I referred to (in couch position) tricked me as it's now obvious from your last picture the couch backs right against the wall, perfect!

Good luck figuring the motor!

Finally had time to get some work done. Unfortunately I also had a headache so tackling the wiring or bed wasn't happening. So I jumped on the roof, cleared off the ice and started taking off the ancient paint and lettering. 3 hours later:

Does anyone know anything about the rear Heat/AC units? I have 4 hoses going into it, and what appears to be a drain exiting the bottom. The controls show heat/AC but I don't seem to have AC on the dash. Also the fan only comes on when in the heat. So I can assume that 2 are for the coolant/heat, but what are the other two? Ken and I are both trying to figure that out.

The two hoses with aluminum ends certainly appear to be refrigerant lines for ac. I would try to follow them and fins out if they are hooked up to a compressor.

If the unit has a drain it was meant to have ac, whether or not it was ever functional is another story.

The two on the left are coolant (in/out) and the two on the right are AC (in/out) and AC will also have a drain. Interesting how they packaged it into one unit, on mine they are separate...

Clean looking roof!

I have a rear box with heating and cooling in one unit. Mine had a separate HVAC control for the back, I needed to install a new valve/rheostat control for the hot water, and had a switch the would turn on the AC compressor without need to turn on the cab unit.

Yours may not have a separate switch for the AC, sometimes the front cab AC control is turned on, which charges the rear unit, and all you need to do is turn on the fan to get conditioned air in back

I'll have to look again, but I don't think there is anything in the cab to indicate there is AC.
In the box there is a toggle switch where when flipped up is heat and down is AC. So far the blower fan for the unit only functions for the heat setting. The other thing I have noticed is that the indicator light is much brighter when I put it to Heat than AC.

While we are on it, how long does it take for one of these units to warm up? I ran the engine until the temp needle was in the normal position, but I wasn't getting heat in the back. Do I need to really be driving to get the box heater to function? Sounds like a stupid question, but I am still buried in 5 feet of snow on one side.

That would be correct.

How many A/C compressors do you have under the hood. Some units operate front and rear off of one, and some have a separate one for the rear. Do you have a set of condenser coils mounted over the cab like the picture below? If you do, chances are you have a separate system for the rear.

And speaking of headaches, I spent all afternoon trying to install a hidden winch and mount on my F-250. There is always that one bolt that just won't come out no matter what you do... I finally got it out without stripping it, but you can guess what I'll be doing tomorrow.
