Got out this past sunday. The terrain was a little too extreme for the blazer :Wow1: but I made it home with only a few little things to fix.

The pics, because everyone likes pics;

It was a round trip. so when the trail was too much I hopped in with my buddy in his BJ70. :drool:

The blazers do OK off road but the frames are "hella" low. :sombrero: I think larger tires will be added later, but that means gears and lots of trimming or more lift. I pushed the blazer a little this week end, sway bar brackets and skid plates suffered. A slower pace and better spotting will be the plan next time out to this location.

Nice build you have going on I like the little S10s.

Side note I have only seen 2 BJ70's in person and both of those where right hand drive I didn't know they where made with the steering wheel on the CORRECT side, pretty cool.

Here are a couple from this week end.

On a side note there is now a 2.5" lift available from rough country. This would allow me to run 33x10.5x15 tires with a bit of trimming. I would need to regear for this but it definately has the gears turning again. :drool:

Small update! I picked up my Eaton E-locker today. It is too cold out today to start the wiring but it is looking better for the week end.

Got out in some snow this week end. There is very little snow this year for us so I will wait to install this;

So, I started wiring up the locker this week end. I figured I should also hard wire the CB and put in a new switch for the lights. I still have to remount the CB higher and I may as well do the antenna while I'm at it.

I had a small power steering leak that was driving me nuts. So I replaced the steering box. Not too bad a job, the pitman arm was a bit of work.

We did go wheeling last week end and started exploring new areas. I will start taking some more pics on the next outing.
