On Sunday July 29th. I did my first TLCA event in Illinois. This was my first off road experience, let me say that with very few mods(I did the 7 pin and the center diff lock switch) this Land Cruiser did awsome. I will point out that our beginner group had a great leader also in an 80 so I figured if he could do it, so could I.
A little poser shot:
My goal for the day was to get one wheel off the ground, I almost made it:
In all, building the truck and taking her out doing what she was built for was awsome. This afternoon I head out to Southern WI for some light camping and to ride my MTB at Kettle Moraine. I may try and look for some easy trails too.
See you on the road.
