Body Lift or not?

I am not a fan of body lifts, unless you need it. How is the drive with the torsion bards cranked more? OME also sells torsion bars that I considered buying. Never read any reviews, but Rocky Road does sell them (http://www.rocky-road.com/mitsubishi-montero-lift-kit.html). That is where I got the shocks and springs from.

With stock torsion bars cranked on my Gen 1, the Montero rides a lot stiffer. It is especially stiff because I am running Skyjacker Nitro Shocks. If I were to do it again, I would just run Hydro Shocks I believe. Nothing too unbearable on road, but off-road it's a very good ride.

Thanks everyone.
Yep so far happy with the 32's but haven't had any off road experience with it yet.
Montero will be used mostly for overlanding/off roading w/the occasional rock crawling stretch thrown in.

@nckwltn I'll measure tonight, I cranked the torsion bars to raise the front about an inch to level it and do away with the stink bug look:ylsmoke:

Guess, I can finish prepping the sliders-:sombrero:

I have 33s with no lift and no torsion bars cranked... No issues

Many of us run 33's with a bone stock Montero, why do you think you would need a body lift in addition to a suspension lift when you are running smaller tires?

Are you happy with the tires? Happy with the clearance upon articulation?

No reason to send your COG even higher unless there's a compelling reason to do so.

The truck looks great.
