Sorry. But at this point right now, we have so many Power Wagons registered, it's just easier to stay a PW only event. There are additional spotting concerns with diesels that if you're not heavily modified, pose additional challenges and slow downs to the group.
For starters, the Power Wagon has greater susepnsion travel in stock trim. So if you're not running a Carli or Thuren 3-inch coils and Kings you're not going to have the same travel. And a number of ledges and walls require at least a rear locker.

So, I've started a video series on our build.
The first video is up, detailing why we chose the Power Wagon. Working on the next video going over our mods to our truck, some of my thoughts on the parts. And the third video will detail our overlanding/camp setup. And the fourth one, I plan on detailing upcoming mods, such as axle truss, gears, king shocks, etc.

I do sort of, have a hybrid setup. It's not onboard air per say. I need to get some pictures.
I'm using two ViaAir 400p compressors and mounted them to a piece of plywood that is cut to perfectly fit in the back of my RamBox.
I store two air hoses underneath them. And both are wired together with an Anderson power connector. On my battery, I have a permanent Anderson power connector as well.
When it's time to air up, I just take them out, bring them to the front and plug them up. I use two, so that I can air up both sides of the truck at once. Or, if a friend needs to air up too, they can jump on one of the compressors since I use 15ft hoses with quick connects.
REALLY REALLY need to get a good photo. I have thought about permanent mounting, and I have an air tank, but this solution just seems ideal since I lead groups from time to time. Here is a photo of my setup from just this past MAY when a friend needed to borrow some air.

Nice. Seems like a smart setup for your truck. That's one thing I've heard a lot of Ram owners go back and forth on: air compressor placement.
Engine bay seems too crowded (at least for a diesel) and I'd hesitate to mount it on the frame, lest it get submerged or struck. Pickup bed or inside the cab seem to be the only viable options, at least for the purposes of overlanding/offroading.

Under the hood of a ram diesel is the least crowded of all diesel trucks. I see allot of guys mounting them in the floor storage bins

The other interesting place I've seen them put is in front of the radiator behind the front grille, with them plumbed either down to the bumper or just through the grille itself. Seen a few 3rd gens that way. I thought about it, but I'd have to fabricate a whole bracket up. And I'm not sure about all the weather they'd take there either.
