Just how hard is it to rebuild them ? The kit looks like it's just a couple of o rings.

Not to bad to rebuild calipers.

I usually buy 3 rebuild kits, becuase I always seem to either tear/pinch an O-ring or boot:snorkel: And I live 20+ miles from the parts store.


If your time is valuable, spring for a set of new (rebuilt) calipers. At $20 a peice vs the $5-8 for a rebuild kit, it's sometimes worth it just to avoid the mess.


Last set of rebuilt calipers I bought, cost $13 ea. The core charge was $15 ea.:snorkel:

I got paid $4 to buy a set of rebuilt calipers!! Go figure.:coffeedrink:

Yea, I think I'm going to get the remanufactured calipers. That way we can install the everything without having to stop and rebuild the ones that are on it. 40 bucks is worth it to me.
