Brisbane to Birdsville and back again

Excellent report! Your narrative and pics were outstanding! Looks like u all had a blast! Some of your pics reminded me of the deserts in Utah. Thanks again!
Glad you enjoyed the read mph, it was a great trip despite the glitches along the way.
i have a few other trip reports i have posted on other forums of older trips we have done, i plan to post some up here in the near future when i get the chance, so hopefully you'll enjoy reading them aswell.

Good stuff mate....thanks for making the effort to write this all up. Awesome.

Regards
John.

Mate, Fantastic write up and the layout of your post is great must of taken some time and effort.

Will have to learn how to insert the pics like that.

Thank you, Well done!!

Thank you both for the nice replies....it took me about 2 weeks worth of nights after we got back to get it all together in the end. I'd spend a few hours each night resizing pics and uploading them to a host site, then trying to recall where we went each day (looking at the pics we took on the trip sorts that out) and then thinking of what to write after that, so yeah it took a while but worth the effort when i look back at it now.

Hey Tappet...Inserting the pics is easy once you learn how, if you want to learn how i do it, i'm happy to run you through what i do and what programs i use via P.M's if you like. It took me a few hours one weekend to teach myself how to do it, but it really is easy to do once you work out how.
Cheers RP

I really enjoyed reading your trip report! I'm an American but I spent a few months studying in Brissy last year. I loved my time spent in Australia and really want to go back! Have you ever been to Moreton? That was one of the few places I could get to without having a car. I'm always amazed and a little jealous at how few people there are in Oz once you get out of the cities.

Hey silverEx...yeah i have been to Moreton Island a few times but have camped on Fraser Island many times more then there. We last visited that island with the family and some mates from our 4wd club about 12 months ago to help 4WDA magazine in the making of one of their dvds. checkout this link to bring back some memories for you, not sure what page it'll link to, but click on DVD 196 http://video.4wdaction.com.au/
Cheers

Absolutely loved it. I'm in Ohio, USA and hope I get to see it all in person someday. Excellent pictures and writeup!
