Remember, these were designed as city commuter bikes, not off-road bikes. That said, from 8 years experience with mine, the tires are neither "too small and too narrow". The fact that a number of people are traveling the world with these (or more local bikepack trips) seems to indicate they are the just right Goldilocks bike. A bike like the RadMini looks cool but is not in the same ballpark weightwise or in compactness. It's a very different bike for a different purpose.I think the tires are too small and too narrow. There are a lot of e-bikes with 20 x 4" wheels and tires. They will weight more. I have a RadMini folding bike. You can ride in on about any terrain. I can lift it into my Grand Cherokee.
