Transfer Flow makes an awesome plug and play large fuel tank for the Tundra. 46 gallons and fits beautifully into the frame. I have had it for over 20K miles and absolutely no issues.

Well, it's been awhile since I updated this thread. I've had the truck for 9 months now and i've put over 12,000 miles on it. Been on a few trips throughout the midwest and southern states. Been through the Hoosier National Forest a dozen or so times, Daniel Boone National forest, Land between the Lakes, ran the Tennessee Dirt Devil, and went fly fishing in Pennsylvania. I've had a lot of fun adventures so far.
I've yet to do many mods to the truck. We just introduced our first child into the mix, so time and money really has played a part in that. Luckily I have an amazing wife and for my recently celebrated 30th birthday, she told me to go get new tires for the truck.
I went with Cooper STT Pros in 295/70R18 after having many conversations with my group.
I decided to see what my ground clearance was wit the new tires on. I measured from the lowest point on my front skid plate to the ground and got 12.25". Not too shabby for an off the floor stock truck.
I think this tire setup really makes the truck finally look like it should, stout and beefy. The stock Michelin LTX A/T2 were a great all season tire, amazing in the snow, and super smooth on the road. I was actually surprised how well they got me through the midwest mud as well. But it was time for something new. A 32" tire just looks odd in the large wheel wells of these newer Tundras. I sold the Michelins for $500 and picked up the new set of Coopers for $1250. I still need to get a full size spare, but need to figure out what to do with it. The new size won't fit in stock location and I don't want a $300 tire sitting in the bed of my truck unprotected.
The one thing that I don't like about this tire setup is how close they are to the UCA. The STT Pros are a rather nobbie tire and my stock TRD Pro rims have a +60 offset. They clear, but are close enough for discomfort. I really like my stock wheel setup, so what i'm going to try to do is run spacers. I'm not a big fan of this idea, but the tires have been bought and i'd prefer to stick to my stock wheels.
Spidertrax 1.25" spacers will hopefully be installed this week.
In preparation for tire rub, i've gone ahead and ordered Relentless Fabrications BMC plates and plan to do the inner fender liner mod.
I've heard really good things about the Spidertrax. I feel like if I have to run a spacer, these should suffice until I decide to run an aftermarket wheel or not. Looking forward to modifications and getting this out to explore more. I've been spending a lot of time locally in the Hoosier National Forest (it's 1.5 hrs from the house) which makes it nice to get the newborn out and in the woods without being too far away from home in an emergency situation.
