Be nice to see one in action, or have a review.

I won a Master Pull recovery set up a year ago, and am really happy with the kenitic 'Super Yanker'

Like to know how the 2 compare. The specs are really close on the 7/8 x 20'

Or a very small man.

Bubbarope looks to be the same material as masterpull with a different color coating. The masterpull may not be coated. I don't think a kinetic rope needs a coating, as its time in use is very small.

Urethane coating may have some value, although perhaps not in 4x4. Outside of nautical use urethane color seems to be primarily used to differentiate brands.

edit: Priced exactly like masterpull before our 10% discount. I would rather have the masterpull protection at the attachment point rather than bubba black coating too.

Wow you really scored!

Having a huge rope like the bubba rope pictured isn't always beneficial, you need the right rope for the right job. The founder of Master-Pull comes from a fishing background where they learned how to properly use synthetic ropes in some of the harshest conditions possible. If you are unsure of what rope you need give us a call and we can point you in the right direction.

Yep!!:wings: I have to say, I love the recovery gear! The winch line is awsome, with the extra covering over it. Last winter I got to use the super yankers quite a bit, they work awsome!

Using my XJ, I was able to pull my dads D2500 with a BOSS V-plow out of the ditch, after the plow got hung up in the snowbank, it was effortless!

The extra protection on the eye loops is nice also. My clevis' are clean, but I have run across some with cable 'bites' in them. The burrs on them would tear the rope without protection.

Quality stuff and very well thought out designs.

It looks alot like the nylon line I used to have to splice together to make mooring lines when I was first in the Navy. Only this is black.

Probably very similar, nylon 3 strand, double braid and in some cases 12 strand are used for dock lines for large ships.

The tow ropes are all nylon double braid ropes, this has proven to be the safest and most durable rope for a kinetic extraction.

Hi guys, Thanks for posting a pic of our JUMBO Bubba rope. That double braided big guy is specifically for pulling HUGE trucks out of the muck! We been selling those ropes for 10 years plus to industrial users such as dump trucks at job sites, farmers with tractors and fire or forestry departments. Our 7/8 x 30 is better suited for most 4x4s. Our urethane coating is used to keep the rope from getting soggy or protecting from harmful UV rays. The US military used these rope from us during Desert Storm. As Alex says, quality double braided ropes like Master Pull's Yanker and Bubba Rope have the best kinetic properties for pulling out any kind of vehicle.

Just curious Jim, why did you name it "bubba rope"? It seems like you're greatly narrowing your target audience to hill-billies by using that name.

What was the rope called when the Military used it?

No doubt it's a quality rope, but the name itself is sorta a turn-off.

Now James, that's a bit duragatory now, isn't it?:wings:
