That's another decent tire (295/70r18 I'm guessing, or 285/75r18). What did you think about ride, noise, and traction? MPG?

you paid someone for that horribly cut out hawse opening? id be pissed

Yeah I have to take equal blame for that too. The SDHQ mount says designed for Warn winch, but if bolt pattern is same other winches will work, and I went with a Smittybilt.
Neither myself or the installer checked if the cutout pattern that came with the mount matched the Smittybilt winch. So I can't be upset if I gave them the stuff, including the cutout pattern without checking it myself. I wish they would have checked it, but I certainly should have as well. At least I have the flipping license plate cover to hide it! Lol

Fair enough then lol. It took me forever to cut out my fairlead on the winch

So i feel your pain

Nicely done!
Yeah I feel pretty dumb for not double checking mine. I have spent countless hours researching every detail and item of my build checking and double checking everything. I can't believe I didn't double check something that involved cutting out part of bumper!!! Oh well, can't do anything about it now and it still functions!

Love the tire advice gents! I'll probably let these tires live most of their life span since they're still decent tires and I'm spending enough as is, but I will probably go with something bigger and badder for the next set.

It's been a long time and a very slow build. I'm almost done though. Here's a (photo heavy) update.

Ham Radio in the center console.

Ham Radio.jpg

Air valve from ARB compressor installed in the rear bumper. Also some additional LED reverse lights.

LEFT TO DO: Finish wiring in the rear. Rooftop tent should arrive in August. Then I'll probably need to add a leaf to the rear springs and should be good to go!

Nice build!!

do you have a long shot of the rear bumper with the reverse lights? I was going to do the same thing and want to see what it looks like. Have you done the bumper recall and if you have is there space behind the painted section to mount the lights? Thanks

I'll grab a photo for you tomorrow.
I didn't have to do the bumper recall, or at least I never got notice. Mine rolled off the factory line late December so they may have corrected it prior.

Nice!

What drawer slides are you using?

I went with "Firgelli Automations Full Extension Drawer Slides 400 lb Capacity (50")" from Amazon. They seem to be holding pretty well. Based on reviews I wouldn't load anywhere near 400lbs, but they should be plenty strong for what I have in them... and the price is great!
