Beautiful work, man- can't wait to see where you go next with this project. I have the same year ERV that we have been slowly tinkering with...just had a shakedown cruise down to FL from our home in VT. Trip went great, having that much enclosed cab-accessible space is so frigging handy, especially given the realities of road tripping in covid times. Your skills are way above my abilities, but super inspiring...sending my mechanic-buddy the link. Wiring work is especially impressive...I SEEM to have one with good wiring, but then who knows? Probably try and investigate further when we get home in spring.
I am a festival food vendor (recovering chef/restaraunteur) and we'll be using the ERV to pull our food trailer to events and serve as a bunkhouse while on site. It will replace my aging 99 Chevy CC 1 ton 6.5 diesel that has served us really well over the last 10 years, hauling our traveling circus up and down the East Coast. Haven't been able to kill that truck so far, but the Green Mtn. rust seems to be doing it for me. Other than having a custom hitch installed and some basic mechanical R&R, we've been running it stock. Your thread has opened my eyes to the possibilities of these rigs, although I'm sure I'll never go quite as big as you have with yours. Thanks again for the posts and happy trails.

Thanks! Yeah, I’ve been busy. Sooo much done, yet more to go. Rear seating/ sleeping area is underway. It folds up to the wall for hauling, turns into a couch, then a single bed, then bunks with a flip up bunk which being recessed into the wall. Wet bath is built and waterproofed- ready for tile. Ceiling and lighting is done with a dimmer. Ac is installed/ wired with wall thermostat and tested running off the inverter. About to start the roof deck. Fresh water tank ordered. Cooktop (Dickerson Marine) ordered. More things I’m not thinking of, I’m sure.

Couch is being recovered with a durable navy (I think) couch type cloth. Shiplap on the walls. Wet bath tiled.
I have access to a really nice wood shop so I’m planning to draw out the cabinets and make all the cuts there.

What kind of seats did you install? Look like maybe Transits? I puzzled over seats with a gutted chinook I had. Hard to find ones with belts. Bought a vans worth of transit seats as they have a bunch of different feet offsets. Finally ended up with Yukon/Escalade 3rd row seats that folded flat, but needed a base fabricated. It’s great to see the room in there with seats installed.

Been a minute since I updated this thread. Had my ankle replaced which did slow me down a bit, but lots of progress.
