If you paint it, stick with the original grey. Best color for Toyota pickups. I had a '93 (2-wheel-drive) pickup that was the same grey color. I waited until it turned over 300k before I let it go. It had 34 miles on the odometer when I was handed the keys.

Should have kept that truck. Only thing that comes closer to being a part of me is my worst-behaved dog.

I do like the stock color, just figured maybe try something different. I know how you feel, I'll always miss my little 2wd '84. Should have just kept it for sentimental reasons.

I'd recommend adding a brace from the front spring hanger to the frame/body mount. Cheap insurance, and I have seen hangers bend.

I'll keep that in mind, are you saying more on the outside of the frame rails where the spring hangers extend past or on the inside portion?
