Building a fully enclosed Overland trailer to be towed by a Jeep

What power supply are you using? battery? seems like it would pull a lot of current
Pulls like 150a while it is on full blast. I have 300ah of Lithium and 420w of solar. Everything is electric and as long as I park in the sun or change locations every day, power isn't an issue. I do cook with fire when there are no restrictions. That time of the year it is better to save the battery for the heater. Speaking of that, with one person and a dog or two people, No heater is needed until the outside Temps get below about 35 even with one window cracked for ventilation.

Well...first long trip is in the books. 3 weeks in Baja and a couple more in the states. More mods coming based on experience. Overall, I couldn't be happier.

Tech set up (I typically work full time while traveling so we can travel more)
Starlink
Starlink Ethernet Adapter
Port replicator
Speedify app to combine internet sources. I have tested this at home and it works well. Can't use chatGPT with it. I haven't needed it while traveling. I guess it's because I travel to remote spots with low competition for Starlink.

I went back on my no propane idea. I still use the induction but it is necessary to have fire during fire season. I got a little propane fire pit, a Coleman 2 burner and an 11 gallon tank. I also added starlink. 40 nights so far this year.20230810_104244.jpg

Well, I decided to make some more enhancements based on usage. I spent more than 50 nights in the trailer last year and learned a few things. The 3 things I am currently working on are.

1. Bench space
2. Indoor water/grey water
3. Freezer (just big enough for some frozen meat.

And...because of this stuff, I have to relocate the toilet. I took the opportunity to put in a Laveo dry flush. It is on 400lb drawer slides.

It is all being framed in 8020. The benchtop is a bamboo desktop from Amazon. The sink will be a stainless salad bowl. Here is where I am today. The 12v freezer will go on the far left.20240114_162431.jpg20240113_173240.jpg20240113_173130.jpg20240115_170322.jpg20240115_170807.jpg20240115_171015.jpg20240115_170807.jpg
