Building Camper for Small Pickups

Not much to show for the weekend. Finishing interior is time consuming. Cut the counter top. Assembled and first coat of paint on the rest of interior pieces.

It's great seeing the progress you're making. I'm anxious to see the final results. Looks like you're staying on track as far as keeping things light goes. I really like the fact that you are keeping things simple yet functional.

54 quart cooler fits under bed. I'll install eye screws and bungie it in.




Keeping the commode from sliding around.


Interior is pretty much finished, just need to put a lip on the cabover shelf and add the legs to the bed slide out.

Painted plywood. I'll have 4" thick cusihions made for this and use a 2" or 3" memory foam pad on top for the bed.

Interiors done, time to put the lid on. Couldn't find any decent 2x2 so I ripped 2x4's for the rafters.
