Nice work man. I don't know why more folks don't build tear drops with a steel frame like that. That would be the only way to go to me, especially for one that will be going offroad. It can't be that much heavier.

This looks like a great project. I'm keen to see how you do the skins. And you have some serious equipment too!

In your photos it looks like the drawbar does not actually continue under the floor frame further than the front crossbar. Is this right? If so this would be potentially a weak spot in the structure. As a rule here we continue the drawbar under the floor and weld the end of the angled tubes to the front of the shackle mounts.

Looking very good, very cold but very good :)
