Bumper build...

Brittan,

Looks good amigo.

All though if I could provide some advice about the fairlead concept you are working on? If you plan on running steel cable, it will cut through the tube. It wont last long at all. One good pull on the side of the tube and it will cut in something feirce. I know a few guys who tried it years ago... this is from experience.

If you plan on running synthetic rope, it will work, but make sure the welds have been ground down super smooth and the front edge on the winch plate is grinded to finshed curve. Otherwise the syn line will get chewed up.

Best Regards,
John

Thanks John...I'm running synthetic line...I have a roller fair lead that came with my winch along with the steel line. The plan is to build up the font edge where the winch plate meets the tube with another weld and grind it smooth.
