bussmann 15710 wiring help

google searched and found very little info. does anyone have wiring instructions on this box, as far as getting power to the box? it seems like it i attach a hot wire to the back bolt, it will ground out on the vehicles body. do i need to mount it on a wood block? i have the special plugs for attaching the accessory wires.

I believe it was designed to have the whole back section protruding through a panel, allowing unobstructed access to the 1/4" studs. A spacer block like you mention would allow a surface mount. Russ
