Ok...... I have an 09 sport 4x4 ex cab Ranger does anyone think the 08 sliders would fit? ( bolt on? ) I would think so as I can't see there would be much if any change in the frame in one model year, anybody? what think? mjmcdowell

Rangers (all of them) have only two frames (per body style/wheelbase). 83 - 97, 98 - end of production. So, yes, sliders that fit an 08 will fit your truck.

Bump. Just got my new front skid in. For any of you guys who are interested, this seems like a well made piece of armor.

Looks nice.

Who made it? I did a search for "RCI", and only came up with a timeshare company.

This thread makes me miss my old 85' ranger. It was only a little 4 banger but I took that thing everywhere. Mileage was increadible. And yes, I did load it up. My family showed goats across the state so I got tasked with carrying a lot of the gear. The most I've ever loaded on it was about 800 lbs. and it handled it without a problem. Only a slight sway and still didn't bottom out the springs. I may have to get another old ranger just as a go-for truck for when my Bronco is down for modification.
