Calmini Upper Control Arm

Yes, PRG has a couple different versions of UCA available, but they are both built differently than this new Calmini one.

There are now 3 companies that make after-market upper control arms for the D40. Total Chaos, PRG, now Calmini.
The big difference between Calmini and the others is the fact they use a sealed ball joint. They are also over $200 cheaper. :)

Using what looks like early pathfinder ball joints just like 1 gen UCA's. Pretty medium grade ball joint, but has the right taper I guess. Since 2nd gens have longer knuckles I don't see these being under as much stress as 1st gens so maybe they will hold better. It's not that they are crappy, it's just the aftermarket ones like Moog, Raybestos, O.E brand, whatever that have a poorly designed boot.
