My Tacoma has such poor paint (chipping) I am going to have it Line -X'd white when the time comes. Cheaper and infinitely more durable than paint or vinyl.

After seeing how good my new LineX looks, I will do the same thing when it comes time for new paint.

Camo is very daring. If you are going to do the camo thing I think you need to think it through and do it very well. It can be a redneck disaster or it can be extremely cool.

At one time I thought about using vinyl for a digital desert graphic on one of my trucks but I chickened out.

If done well and with quality paint and prep it can be cool but it has to be the right vehicle, the right wheels/tires, accessories etc. to be able to pull it off.

NATO standard 3-color camo pattern is the easiest to do, MARPAT desert digital not so much... but it would look neat on the right rig IMO.

As for the OP's question about camo vinyl I have never seen this in person but I dont see how it would be much different from the vinyl graphic "wrap" jobs you see on race vehicles.

When I get enough of Mother Nature's pinstripes I would love to do something like either one of these:
