Looks like I'll be getting CamoVan in the next few days, as soon as the title arrives we will close the deal.

From the Craigslist ads;

Currently at 131k
Purchased at 116,000 miles and immediately did aux Racor fuel filter.
4k mile 4r100 F350 trans
nv271 transfer case
F250 front & rear axles
U Joint off road 4x4 conversion parts (Google them, they make the highest quality conversion parts out there)
Auto Meter Pyro and Trans temp gauge
White HIDs
Class 3 hitch
trailer controller
Fresh windshield
Fresh ball joints
Fresh Brakes on all 4 (calipers, rotors and pads)
Windows all around, legal on parkways
I have 10k miles on the 4x4 swap, it drives great
DP Tune 80 horsepower tune
4:10 gears in the rear with torsion limited slip
3:73's still in the front. Does not matter in snow or on the beach (it actually helps)
Trans cooler with fan behind rear axle
Front hitch for cooler or whatever
This is a 2003 e350 extended van with a 7.3l diesel. 132k miles. 4 rows of seats. This is the perfect snowboarding vehicle or camping vehicle. Very good at road trips. 17 mpg. Mechanically in great shape. Body is not perfect.

4:10 gears are now swapped in on the front.
What it still needs;

Windshield, he said it's new but it's cracked already.
Spare tire
Camouflage is rattle can job, might take it to a shop for solid white paint or (olive drab or maybe gray/silver), or may do it myself in my driveway with compressor and airbrush.
Not too worried about making it pristine perfect.
Chrome rims are peeling in spots. Not sure how much $$ I want to drop, might just leave it for now.
Has a dent behind driver's side rear wheel, and smaller one at passenger side, might try to fix that up.

Stand by for lots of pics, and lots of questions!

Great score man, you're going to love it. Another vote for the olive, mines white, which I like but I think Im going to go tan, or an olive type too.

Thanks! :)
Khaki is also an option.
I'm thinking sun/heat, which is why I may go back to the original white.
Although the flat military colors have an appeal, east touch ups, etc.

I wouldn't do a line x type, unless its very light. In my experience they tend to fade. I agree on the lighter color due to heat, white has been good so far, I have only heard people say that the darker colors make it much warmer. I've always wanted charcoal grey too, but I'm afraid itll be too warm.

To Do List

Maybe Line-x would be good for undercoating, though maybe rustoleum would be just as good, or Rust Bullet.

[I didn't just buy a vehicle, I bought a to do list. And a place to throw money. No regrets, I think it was good for the price :)]

rear panel dent, parking brake cable, 4" exhaust, spare tire still mounted
some surface rust, (looks worse in flash pictures) must find a way to halt it's progress, rustoleum?

Nitto rim corrosion, chrome peeling. What to do? New rims? Powdercoat? Leave it for now and tackle functional stuff first?

IMG_4641.jpg
I think this is the parking brake cable tied off?

IMG_4644.jpg
Nitto tires about ready to replace. looking at BFG AT's 325/65/18.

Parking brake cable?

Left rear dent. At least I won't be scared for my paint when going offroad.

Kind of dig the inner plastic thing. I think there's reflectix behind it. Might be enough insulation for my purposes. Debating whether to cut holes in it for the windows

Under the mat is a mess, previous owner threw dirt bikes in the back.
Gonna pull the seats, mats and give a thorough clean out.

But not today, temperatures are dipping to 0F overnight.

I agree. besides the added weight, they fade over time and will look bad.

Monsterliner 1gal cans are just a tad under 10lbs. At most it would take 3 gal, so 30lbs max. It's not going to get magically heavier once it's on the van and dry. I'd suspect it would take less if it were sprayed on via line x style, so weight should be of little concern.
