Camp Kitchen?

Drifta Camp Kitchens made over here in Australia are some of the best I've seen!

http://www.drifta.com.au/

The make a few different ones to suit trailers, back of 4x4s etc.

Here is an example - their "car back" model:

Packs down into its own self contained box - very smart design - go check out their website for ideas!

That's supposed to fit in a car?! Nice setup, but I am surprised at the volume of stuff some of you guys get in your vehicles.

Might not fit in a car, but that would look awfully nice in my trailer.
construction of that unit doesn't look all that hard, I may try building one for myself. I can't see spending the shipping from Oz to get one.

I sent a e-mail to drifta on the kitchen pull out. I asked if they would ship to the U.S.A. ? After looking at their products I would love to have a Drifta pull-out kitchen for my M416 trailer.

I also sent them an email. After drooling over their kitchens, I would love to have one if they will ship to me.

This is what I would love to have. If I cant get t shipped, I will do my best to build one similar.

On one of the pages in the website, I saw a picture of a guy in California that had one. The caption on the picture read something like "first Drifta exported to America". So apparently he will ship to the US, but I imagine the shipping costs would be almost as much as the cost of the kitchen. Time will tell.

Great to see some of you guys like the Drifta Kitchens! Let us know how you go.

The Drifta Car back is relatively compact for what it is and you can store stuff in the main drawer.

Quite incredible really and a very well thought out design!

I exchanged a couple of e-mails with the owner of Drifta. He was looking for somebody to build his product in the US. If there is enough interest I will get back in touch with him.

Ok, I'll bite.

I would go a lot better if I could buy one of these from Luke.

The Drifta is the cat's meow. I'm willing to pay the premium price for shipping.

Good luck with that, I live in Germany now and couldnt get much response for shipping it over here. So.... I made my own. If I can get a long arm suspension and 5 tires and wheels shipped over here, I am pretty sure it can be done, just not sure if there is enough ambition for them to do and have it be worth their effort.
