I have seen pics of awnings with a string or two of small hanging lights, and how are they powered or what does everyone use?

This string of Eno LED lights is sort of festive, in a low-key way. Runs off of batteries, so no need for AC or DC power. The pouch they're stored in is pretty small (and all I have room for in my Jeep).

the tent is a Snow Peak Landloc
we love the tent has a back sleeping area you can see with door behind the mesh part open
but yet gives us a huge prep whatever room getting kids changed etc.. in front ;) the burgundy thing is a soft dog crate
its huge but packs small and is very stable in the wind we have had it in so far :)

I use white Christmas lights that are powered by 2 AA batteries to illuminate my campsite. I have some solar powered ones too. Just enough light to see around camp without ruining the wilderness atmosphere.
