It's time to re-visit the freaking knobs again! On our last campout, one of the knob kept sliding out, even with the tiny setscrew cranked down. As y'all know I installed guitar knobs which was working out for the most part. So, it was time to fix it once and for all.
Went to Ace hardware and procured some 3/4" length, 6-32 setscrews. I drilled and tapped both guitar knobs with 6-32 tap, all the way through. Funny thing I learned is that the guitar knobs are alum shells with some kind of a composite material on the inside, and it's hard enough to be able to be tapped. I also drilled/tapped the stove's valve stems to 6-32 as well. Additionally, I ended up shaving the knobs about 1/16" so that the hole going through the valve stem has more meat and not on the very tippy top. The pic below will make sense.
Half hour later, we got a knob that will NEVER slide out.

In a few weeks, I'll tackle the propane supply side of thing by going to a RV style quick release valving solution. This gentleman outlined everything in this video
