Thank You Larry.

Your truck is my favorite purpose built vehicle on this site. I have read your whole build. Although I am a little bias toward Chevy. Most people covet the 67-72 body style, but for some reason the square body has always called me. Plus I stole this one with original paint(although not that great) and zero rust if you can believe that. There is always more work to be done on it, but for now it gets me out and about just fine.

I bought my '91 Chevy at an auction yard with a caravan on it and I spent many desert nights in it but it was time to move up so I got this '88 starcraft off craigslist, it is well used and has been neglected and butchered but nothing that can't be fixed.

So this is the first trip, nothing too far just some dry camping in the nevada outback, I love desert camping!

Rear View.jpg
It's sooo much nicer to be able to sit at a table or cook inside when the weather turns, the puppers seem to like it alot more too!
Gonna be nice to be able to go for longer trips without feeling like a packrat!

Close…… those two pictures and video were taken on Taylor Pass. Cottonwood Pass is nothing more than poorly paved road (with a few dirt spots) from BV to Taylor Park. Taylor Pass is a 4x4 trail near Taylor Park.

our new tacoma with mc600 north star pop up

our newest set up.

2015 tacoma 4x4 base model with as new "used" mc600 north star pop up.

have had four wheel pop ups in past, but wife wanted a more comfortable bed set up
and a little more storage and room inside. north star has both, lots of under bed storage, plus you can leave bed made up with pillows blankets etc,
and still lower top.
no frig (have engle 12 volt in truck cab}

camper came from craigslist owner used it 2-3 times, never used the stove or furnace, still had plastic
covers on bench seats.

of course added firestone ride rite air bags.
truck handles camper fine,no complants.
besides truck/camper pictures might as well throw in fish/cat(bella) pictures!

Frank:
yes we still have the transit and still use it for short trips or if we just
want to "cruize" the country side!
