Why can't I ever see photo bucket? What is it and why do people use it?

Because it is garbage. I just cancelled my Photobucket account after years of horrible performance and service. Had to move over 13K photos from that account.

Photo bucket used to offer free third party image hosting, meaning you could post your forum photos on there and make them appear in your forum posts. So tons of people used it. And then they withdrew the 'free' part and killed all the links that everyone has ever posted and tried to charge an exorbitant sum to keep their photos posted. Yup, Photobucket sucks!

This. It has fixed every thread I've looked at on here. I haven't looked into how it works, but it does work. It's pretty impressive.

Not sure. It was that way when I got it. The ones that were added accept a lock.
