Camper cabin hoist - just like Unicat.

Hi,

I'm looking to source hoists that lift the camper cabin roof for a Unimog / Merc / MAN truck or some such. I'm not looking for cheap, but ones that will work consistently. So, thinking German!

Are these made to order or is there a manufacturer out there?

Interesting your last statement - I was hoping to place a viewing platform up there, along with some solar panels. As for cost although I have a tight budget this is the kind of thing I will spend the dollars on, along with the electrical system. I see no point in compromise there. Oh, and the kitchen, bathroom, storage........ sheesh...

I expect on this UNICAT ordinary hydraulic cylinders, pump and 4 port flow divider are what lifts the roof.
It appears to be chrome hydraulic rams exposed in the pictures shown ??
Not exactly cheap costwise, but hydros are plenty durable system and immune to un-balanced rooftop loading.
