Camper Door

Something was thinking of last night is, where does the companies who make slide in popup campers get their doors? Looking at ones like Northstar, FWC, Hallmark, etc., they are all using midsize doors. I know they are not making them themselves but I cannot seem to find who is making them or if a consumer can buy them direct. New rabbit hole to go down...

I ended up on the phone with Lippert. They make nice doors and I was talking to them about upgrades. They ended up sending me a dealer list to contact to custom order. I noticed that Supertramp was a dealer. I’m guessing these are the doors they use on their camper’s

you need to go to china to find good rv doors. Most manufacturers over there have a cheap line of doors and a high end line . Most of the good stuff is going to Europe and Australia. Tern overland changed that for North America. The arctic tern doors are nice and can be serviced/ adjusted if needed.

if you need anything more high end, you should look into widebird, outbound or build your own.

Honestly, I bought a used door from a trailer on Marketplace and re-sized it to fit. I'm happy with it! Frosted glass and insulted all for $50 and a bit of my time..

From what I have seen on videos, that is just a cover that can be removed. I would then work on it from the back side, lining up the crack and then using some plastic compatible super glue to hold it. Then I would go over with some fiberglass cloth and soak it in super glue, which should reinforce it. It is possible you might still see the line of the crack but should be fairly invisible.
