Out of curiosity, what are some of you using for fire gloves? Mine need to be replaced after about 3 years of heavy use, but they were great gloves and gave me a good appreciation for good gloves.

I use medium-quality or cheap welding gauntlets after they get too stiff for delicate work.

I use my welding gauntlets for blacksmithing as well as MIG welding, so they tend to get stiff from the combination of sweat and the occasional dunk in the slack tub (quenching iron or putting myself out/cooling off if the heat starts seeping through). Once they get stiff, they're usable but "tiring" to use for any length of time, so I'll buy a new set for welding/smithing and then the old set gets moved to a grill or into a camping box somewhere.

Level of organization varies widely from trip to trip. Am I solo or grouped. Simple overnighter or full blown camping. Sheldon NWR a couple weeks ago.
