Grand Canyon

Great time, with great friends! Thanks to Seth and Kande from Adventure Driven.

Basic, basic minimalist camping.


Slept on the left picnic table inside the Chester Montana rest area. Arrived there just past midnight and I left at 05:00 hrs. Got a few friendly waves from understanding local and State police.

Someone was kind enough to leave a rather nice barn board table for us to dine on.

Solo camping set up at this year's EAA convention. Set the awning up as a lean-to to deal with the setting sun - after all day of waling around in the sun it was nice to get back to some shade and some beer -

I had a premium spot on the top of the ridge over looking the lake to the rear. Most of the other jeepers took "low ground" for their camp sites.

When rolling solo i go really light weight on my gear. I get my hammock and the dogs get their bed in the jeep. Keeps us all out of the nocturnal kritter zone.
