In the second shot, the vehicle is parked literally just out of frame on the left. Incredible views of Castle Valley from the top of the Porcupine Rim.

Here are a few pictures from somewhere on the western slopes of the sierra's.

It was nice and dry the first day

It snowed (more like sleet) from midnight to 2am and we awoke to this

The snow was almost like hail.

Mark, was this from the past weekend? I have been up at Mammoth since the 14th and the past 5 days it had been snowing quite a bit. Yesterday it cleared up and was beautiful but it looked like February.

We camped in Wentworth Springs last Friday and had to bail on Saturday due to Snow and rain. We had about 10 80s in our group.
