sure, unhook both driveshafts from the diffs, (4 bolts each) then use straps or safety wire to secure them out of the way.

yes i saw the google searches, and of course, is not applicable to this thread .
removing driveline or disconnecting or turning out the front hubs is an option.
in my case i really should be asking if the transfer case in a gen 1 can be put into neutral and the rig flat-towed.
there should be some factory printed stickers or instructions someone has, to instruct me.
but as recently as a few minutes ago, i was informed that i am the owner of a rubicon t-case 4.0: 1. so the question gets altered again;
and likely the answer is found in the jeep forums. thx all
